MPD Makes Arrests in Drug Investigation

MOORESVILLE, NC – On June 12, 2023, Detectives with the Mooresville Police Department were conducting an investigation into complaints of illegal drug activity in the Rocky River
Road area near Rocky River Elementary School. While conducting surveillance in the area, Detectives observed a vehicle leave the residence mentioned in the complaints. Detectives attempted to stop the vehicle after it left the residence, but the driver initially did not pull over.
The driver of the car eventually stopped and was identified as 35- year- old Jerome LerayAllison. Allison was placed under arrest for Failure to Stop for Blue Light and Siren and was found to be in possession of a quantity of narcotics including fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence at 112 Vick Road, where Allison had just left. As a result of the search warrant, Detectives seized over a pound of Methamphetamine, approximately ½ pound of Fentanyl, 64 dosages units of counterfeit Alprazolam, and two firearms including an AK-47 style pistol. Douglas Anthony Allison, who also lives at the residence, arrived as officers were searching the residence and was also arrested on felony drug charges.
Jerome Leray Allison, 35 years old, of 112 Vick Road was charged with (F) Trafficking in Opiates, (F) Trafficking in Methamphetamine, six counts of (F) PWISD a Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a School, (F) Maintaining a Vehicle to Keep, Use or Sell a controlled substance, (F) Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon (M) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and (M) Failure to Stop for Blue Light and Siren. He was placed in the Iredell County Detention center under a $855,000 secured bond.
Douglas Anthony Allison, 55 years old of 112 Vick Road, was charged with (F) Trafficking in Opiates, (F) Trafficking in Methamphetamine, (F) Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, three counts of (F) PWISD a Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a School, (F) Maintaining a Dwelling to Keep, Use or Sell a Controlled Substance, and (M) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a $780,000 secured bond.
