MPD Officer Charged with Misdemeanors

 

MOORESVILLE, NC – On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Mooresville Police Officer David

Stephen Brashear, 45, of Mt. Holly, North Carolina, was arrested on misdemeanor charges.

These charges include Resist, Delay, and Obstruct; and Accessing Computers. This investigation

was initiated by reported misconduct involving a woman following an encounter at a local

establishment. The investigation revealed that Brashear misused government issued devices and

databases.
