TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN FELONY DRUG ARREST

MOORESVILLE, NC – On Saturday, November 30, 2024, at approximately 8:58 a.m., Mooresville Police Department Officers conducted a traffic stop on River Highway near Interstate 77.

A subsequent investigation and search of the vehicle resulted in Officers seizing four pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a concealed handgun.

 

Lekeon Davajia Brown, 27 years old of Charlotte, was charged with (F) Possession of Marijuana, (F) Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Marijuana, (F) Maintaining a Vehicle to Keep/Sell/Use a Controlled Substance, (M) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, (M) Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and (M) Window Tint Violation. Brown was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond.
