MOORESVILLE, N.C. – On May 16, 2025, Mooresville Police Department received a call for shots being fired in the area of Lookout Point Place. The caller stated that people were shooting outside of their residence. Occupants of a Dodge Charger were exchanging gunfire with individuals on foot. Officers responded to the scene, and while they were arriving, a Dodge Charger was seen leaving the area. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and two firearms were located. Three male occupants were in the Dodge Charger and were arrested on the following charges: Brandon Samir Adams, 18, Discharging a firearm in city limits and Possession of Marijuana; Ja`Cory Dashawn Kirkland,19, Discharging a firearm in city limits; Justin Smith Davidson, 20, Discharging a firearm in city limits, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and Felony possession of Marijuana. Additional charges are forthcoming.
