ARREST FOR TRAFFICKING METHAMPHETAMINE AND POSSESSION OF FIREARM


MOORESVILLE, NC – On July 24, 2025, at 3:41a.m., Mooresville Police Department received a call for service for a welfare check regarding a male on the side of the roadway on Charlotte Hwy. Mooresville Police Department officers located Tylor Scott Perry, 28, of Mooresville unconscious on the shoulder of Charlotte Hwy.     

During the encounter, officers located a handgun concealed on Perry’s person and he was arrested. During the arrest, he was found in possession of approximately 30 grams of Methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia. Perry was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II-Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, Carry of a Concealed Weapon, and other controlled substance violations. He was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center where he received no bond.
