Narcotics Detectives Seize Cocaine and Marijuana in Search Warrant Execution
MOORESVILLE, NC – On September 22, 2025, Narcotics Detectives with the Mooresville Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence located at 336 Alexander Street. During the search, detectives seized the following controlled substances: 1.85 ounces (52.9 grams) of cocaine, 6.5 grams of crack cocaine, and 4.9 ounces (140 grams) of marijuana.
As a result of the investigation, Bobby Nicholson, 46, of Mooresville was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking in Cocaine
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine (2 counts)
- Felony Possession of Cocaine (2 counts)
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana
- Felony Possession of Marijuana
- Maintaining a Dwelling for the Sale of Narcotics
- Sale of Narcotics within 1,000 Feet of a School
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Nicholson was taken to the Iredell County Jail where the magistrate held him under a $500,000 secure bond. The Mooresville Police Department remains committed to keeping illegal narcotics out of the community and ensuring resident safety.
