Mooresville Man Charged with Attempted Murder

MOORESVILLE, NC – On Friday, April 26, 2024, at approximately 7:05 a.m., Mooresville

Police Department (MPD) Officers responded to an Assault with a Deadly Weapon call at 627

Spruce Street, Mooresville.

Upon arriving on scene, MPD Officers found the victim who had been assaulted with a hammer

and screwdriver in a shed behind the residence. The victim as well as witnesses on scene

identified Tymir Lowe as a suspect. MPD Officers began a search for the suspect, locating the

suspect in response to a suspicious person call. Lowe was taken into custody without incident,

and the victim was transported to CMC Main.

Tymir Tyvay Lowe, 32 of Mooresville, was charged with (F) Attempted Murder and was placed

in the Iredell County Detention Center without bond.
